Irish leader claims 'yes' win for EU treaty

Ireland has voted decisively in favor of a new 27-nation treaty that would restructure an expanded European Union, the country's leader said Saturday. Prime Minister Brian Cowen hailed what he said was a "good day for Ireland and a good day for Europe" saying early returns pointed to certain victory for the treaty.
